Not a good choice on 09 and up.

New springs on right.......older springs on left

Newer springs are certainly shorter.

I haven't installed mine yet, not sure if I will.... I'm having no problems with the OEM tensioner at the moment...
What's the measurement of the long springs? I probably have the long ones in mine. I can't remember how long ago I bought and installed it.

The only problem with mine is that if I blip the throttle at idle, the chain slaps the primary cover. Sounds like hell. Now I don't blip the throttle.

no issues with mine either, have on my 103 and a 100 ci evo. stock HD auto tensioners ratcheted up way too tight and stayed there on both, so replaced with M6.

As measured with my high tech Harbor Freight calipers.....

Old springs on the left:

Thinner center spring- 40.03mm / 1.575 in
Thicker outer spring- 34.55mm / 1.360 in

New springs on right:

Thinner center spring- 34.48mm / 1.357 in
Thicker outer spring- 28.43mm / 1.119 in

Hope that helps...

I installed mine when I first purchased my 14 limited (had about 1000 miles on it) back over a year ago.
The Install made the space of the shoe near bottoming out very tight and not like the specs in the instructions. Back then everyone kept getting mixed responses from hayden about not having the required clearance and some even modified the springs to give that proper clearance.
I never modded mine and ran it for about another 1,000 miles before going back to stock. It never had the whirring sound, but it did cause a Compensator Clunk if you blipped the throttle for any reason. I even pulled the primary cover again and checked the torque on the Comp nut and saw there was no wear on the ramps so I just pulled it and went back to the stock one.

I had the Hayden in for around 10k miles. The whining that thing made (that you mostly could only hear at low rpm) finally drove me nuts. Seemed to be working ok, but the noise .... I put the Baker in last week. No more noise.
