Default bike cover question

This may be a dumb question but, here it goes anyway. My wife bought me a bike cover for my B-day but im worried that when I put 16" or 18" apes on it wont fit anymore. will the cover still fit with apes?

Depends entirely on the cover. The bad thing about covers is they trap moisture under them and things always rust. They also can have a tendency to scuff your paint or chrome. Of course, it the bike has to stay outdoors you may not have a choice.

Its a cover from HD. My bike is always garaged and I always cover it with a bed sheet. to keep the dust off. im still on the fence about using the cover of taking it back and using the money on something else I need.

If you keep the apes in the saddlebags the cover should fit just fine.

If the Apes are lower than the windshield it should work, mine did. Been using the INDOOR cover for years without any problems...

I agree, if they are the same height or lower then the stock RG windshield, you will be fine.

Personally, I only use the HD cover when the bike is on the rode. Indoors I use the wife's old flannel sheets.

I use the covers when I don't ride for awhile. As already mentioned, it should be just fine. The cover bottom might not be straight and level to the floor but who cares.

The Harley indoor cover breathes so moisture won't be a problem and their indoor/outdoor cover has vents in it to prevent condensation.
