SERT vs SERT Pro

SERT vs SERT Pro
Hey folks, looking at a Screamin Eagle Race Tuner and don't know much about them.
Just got a new 2015 Road Glide and now I'm shopping for it.
Besides the obvious price difference, whats the difference from the SERT to the pro version?
Are they any good? Worth the money?
Does it do the same and/or more than the stage 1 flash?
I had a PCV on my 2009 after I installed new cams so I am familiar with how they work but don't know much about the SERT.
Thanks all

"IF" I were in your boots, I honestly would look into TTS Mastertune Turner.
Steve Cole is the owner, and was the "original maker" of the Screamin' Eagle Race Turner. Then the MoCo in typical fashion and greed, wanted more control and $$$ and decide to go the cheaper route with less benefits for your bike.
Again just my opinion.
Good luck.

The comparison is the race tuner (pro) and the street tuner,
the street tuner allows for uploads of Harley's EPA compliant maps only,
the race tuner allows you upload and modify, VE tables, timing, idle, and a bunch of other stuff I shouldn't mess with. It has smart tune that allows you to record your ride it will analyze, and adjust the VE, tables accordingly (build the map for you).
With tuners that allow full adjustment the person using the tuner is what's important.

FWIW, they no longer make a SERT.
There is the SEPST, and the SESPT.
Screamin' Eagle Pro Super Tuner, Screamin' Eagle Street Performance Tuner.
I wouldn't use either of them if you bought them for me, paid someone to install it, and bought me lunch.
For a 14+ bike, there are 3 GREAT options...
TTS (The Turbo Shop) MasterTune... Uses your laptop
PV2 (Power Vision 2)... Can mount to your bars, is removable after tuning.
FP3 (Fuel Pak 3)... Uses your smartphone via bluetooth
Either of them will net you great results, all are less expensive than the SE products, all allow more control than the SE products.

The Pro tuner is capable of doing anything you would ever need in tuning a bike.
BUT, it all comes down to the person doing the tune.

I used the Pro Super Tuner on my old Street Glide, and it worked great.
The guy doing the dyno tune knew what he was doing though.
For my '15 Limited, I went with the FP3 and am very happy with that too.
I am not one that makes a lot of modifications, so the Stage 1 is probably all I'll ever need.
The FP3 route was much cheaper than the Super Tuner/Dyno combination.
But to answer the OP's question, here are the differences for the HD tuners
Street Tuner: Screaming Eagle Street Performance Tuner (SESPT)
Super Tuner: Screaming Eagle Pro Super Tuner (SEPST)

SEPST-uses a laptop
SEPST -is removable
And bluetooth big deal.
So which product lets you do more then the SEPST
And what else can those do that the SEPST can't do?

Choices choices! Lol
I really don't want to mess with my warranty on this thing, at this point I mostly want to raise the rev limiter. Can't stand that it chips at 5200 rpm, drive me insane! Unless the 2015 is different than my 2009 was??? The 09 chipped at 5200, I had it flashed with stage 1 and to me this made a big difference. Later on I added cams and the power commander but the rev limit is critical for me witout screwing the warranty.

Screamin Eagle Pro Super Tuner. It will do what you need. Understand it is (married) to your bikes ECM by vin #. You CAN NOT use it on another bike.
It can easily adjust your rev limiter, timing, AFR,VE tables, has a smart tune or a live tune option. Has ability to check DTC , and clear them...etc.

All 3 I mentioned technically use a laptop, All 3 are technically removable.
All 3 let you do more than the SEPST...
All 3 allow you speedo calibration, which none of the SE products allow.
The FP3 allows you real-time data gathering with your smartphone.
The PV2 allows you real-time data gathering that you can see on your handlebars... Yes, auto tune while watching the cells, simple to do on back roads.

Technically, the SEPST will mess with your warranty as much as the PV2, or TTS or FP3.
Let me ask you a question, or rather ask yourself this question, as I already know the answer...
How can making the engine run correctly affect the warranty?
If you hop the top end way up, go with some extreme shave and polish job with huge cams and achieve super high compression and you bust your crank, it's not going to be covered.
Fattening the mix up a bit, and getting your VE tables in line isn't going to do that. If your stereo craps, it's still under warranty.
If you tune it way too lean, and burn a piston, no, it won't be covered.
