Hi All, Joe from Pa. here, Still full from Thursday. Well I joined this forum because my wife is tired of listening to me bitch about winter on the way. I"ll try not to bore anyone with that. I'm on my 3rd HD a new Road King. Rode it to Sturgis this year and boy is she comfy. Went for a nice 6 hr. ride yesterday down to WV. Thru Md. and back. Nice ride But had to go it alone and all the woods are naked on both sides of the road. The weather was relativly warm until later in the day then my fingers started to cramp as the day light started to go away. I had to stop to look at a map one time to decide which way to go, North or South.. The side of the road looked level, kicked down the stand and got off, I opened my saddlebag that's when my new Rushmore started to teeder then fell over to the right. Why the hell I grabbed the open hard bag cover is beyond me then SHATTER! What an ASxHxxx! Thank goodness nobody saw me. Man that sucker is heavy. Didn't tell my wife. I"ll never hear the end of it.. I think this may be the last ride of this year cause I wont ride her with a big hole in the side of the bag. Don't want to know what it will cost for a new one, not to mention the two tone paint job. Oh well,didnt want to ramble but that's what this site is for right? Anyone have an extra L/S hard bag for a 15 model silver & blk w/the red pinstripe?
