Default Does Newer CVO Exhaust Fit 2010

I have seen a number of you recommend using CVO pipes as a quiet alternative on a touring Harley.

So I ask, will the newer Rushmore CVO styles fit my Pre-Rushmore RK?

Thanks

If you are talking about the slip on mufflers, they will fit with no problem.

Yes. Everything, exhaust-wise, will interchange from 2009 through 2016.

Thanks for the info. I am seeing both slip-ones and whole systems off stock bikes for sale, but I'm thinking that if noise reduction is my goal, I should leave my stock head pipes and CAT on and just change the slip-ons.

It will all fit header and pipes. getting rid of the CAT will not really increase sound level much just changes the tone

I would check the size and location of the holes for the O2 sensors if you are thinking using a 09 head pipe. The 09 head pipe did not have a CAT in it (except for Calif)

The 09 is a different story. Header is the same pipes the same however the 09 had the large 02 sensor located right at the exhaust port. kind of a pain to plug them and weld in small ones in proper location.

Mine is a '10, so it has both the CA cat and the smaller O2 sensor.

I'm actually looking to REDUCE the exhaust dB levels. Yes, heresy I know, but on the long rides it would be nice to just hear the exhaust note without the ears bitching. On some earlier threads some folks seem to like the CVO mufflers for that reason.

Mine is a 2010 Ultra. Removed cat first and could not tell any difference in sound level, maybe just a bit different in tone. I would take it out just to get rid of the heat. I then put on a stock set of cvo slip-ons and they were slightly quieter than the stock touring pipes. Didn't like the sound so did the Fullsac baffles.

I had the same experience with the cvo mufflers. With a Fuel Moto head pipe, cvo mufflers were actually quieter than the stock mufflers. On mine the stock mufflers actually perform better, but not by much. There is a ton of packing in the cvo also. I cut apart the cvo baffle, the changes in pipe size are huge. Inlet is like 2" swells in the center, then a 1 1/4" perforated pipe comes out into the baffle to restrict the flow then swells to the 1 3/4 exit pipe. I have the 2" Fullsac baffles coming also.
