just a thought. If you are really going 120 mph with your arms, chest, and face in the wind hanging on to those apes you have probably transferred 80% of the weight to the rear tire raising the front end. Thus the light front end feel. Ditch the apes.

Thanks for the input guys. I never really thought about the apes being the issue but it makes perfect sense. It's not like I am going that fast on a regular basis but down here in New Orleans we dont have any curvy canyon roads to carve so we have to keep it interesting by going fast in a straight line.

I ordered my glide pro stabilizing system an poly riser bushings today, I will keep you guys posted and let yall know what I think.

Right now I am really more concerned with squeezing every last riding day in before it gets too cold.

hate the cold of Louisiana ???? just how cold does it dip to there !????

i'm riding in Massachusetts in the 40's with no snow yet and consider myself lucky to be doing so in December. rainy and 41 degrees right now = no riding

Dunno. I have 17" apes and have gone 120 without any issues many times. No floating, no need for a steering damper, and no ill effects except a little less gas mileage.
