Default Got a question about 02 sensor position

Is the 02 sensor position on a 2010 stock pipe the same as a 2014 stock pipe? Seems I have heard people describing the sensor position as different then my 2014.

the 14 uses the 66855-10A catalytic header introduced in 2010 on most touring models- (the USA version flhx and fltrx used a 2/1 for 2010- 66857-10 ).

the 2009 ( new frame w/ crossunder), 2008, 2007( old frame w/crossover) headers used larger o2 sensors positioned closer to the exhaust port

So then the 2010 and 2014 pipes have identical sensor position?

2010~2014 same pipe, so yes

and same o2 sensor F- 27729-10 R- 27809-10

while we work pretty good on a rumor-based guess system, the parts books help to track the use of parts and running changes

If you haven't come across it yet, Mike's "teach a man to fiche" theme is well worth picking up on! There are several parts websites where you can check these things, like this one.
