It's called a Cycle Shade. CycleShade.com I received a flyer from Cycle Gear a while back with a sale on these and it's great for keeping the hot sun off of my leather seat and tank.

That's what I thought initially. But I obviously bought one being that it's on my bike that's sitting in my driveway.

These or thing just like these have been around for a few years... Had one for the GW they WILL keep your seat shaded & cool....

I have something similar I use to keep the sun/dust off at work. Also keeps the moisture off the seat when working nights.
