slip on mufflers for FLTRXS
I want a little more sound than the stock mufflers that came with the bike. What are some good slip on mufflers for the 2016 Road Glide Special? What are your thoughts on Cobra 909 twins or Vance and Hines twin slash slip on mufflers??

Guessing this is new to you, fyi ALL the touring models are the same except for plastic, speakers and badges.
So what fits on one variant of the touring models, will likely fit another...like mufflers
as above, go hear some bikes at a dealer bbq, bike night etc.
on 2010+ models the catalytic convertor in the header has a huge effect on sound- more or equal to the effect of the muffler.
as you get into this you may decide to get a header without a cat, either aftermarket or modified.
and high flow air cleaner and tuning compensation...what we call a "stage 1"

Decat seems to be a good first step if you are not going to the expense of a full exhaust. Exhaust looks the same but will be louder. If you want to change appearance then get the aftermarket muffler style you like. This will prob be louder than OEM. Decat and new mufflers can get the bike much louder than stock. To get the sound/style you want often takes multiple tries. Plan on spending more money than you first thought. Maybe the first try will make you happy. Maybe not.
