I really like this HU as well, hooked up a PBR 300x2 amp and 7.1 Biketronic speakers and it sounds great. everything is as advertised except the USB doesn't charge anything. I've tried several different devices in the USB port and none of them charge. It works and plays perfectly other than that. Did I miss a connection during install perhaps? Saw a comment somewhere that tapping into the headlight wiring harness was required?

Be sure to check your model number. I believe that on one model the usb charges/plays. On the other model the usb plays only, does not charge.

I've got the color screen 5U-BT model which is supposed to have the charging capability. It functions properly in terms of playback and control just doesn't charge any device that I've tried.

1) What color is the dial **** on the AQ-MP-5UBT-H model? It looks to be gold colored in the pics where as the the non album art model looks chrome? Also do you have to tap into the headlight wires for USB charging to work?
2) How are they holding up?

whew thats a relieve! I believe that i am going to give it a shot. Nothing wrong with my stock but having to pull the ipod from the side cover to update and reload is getting old. I would also like to use my apple music features and stations. the plug and play is a nioce feature so i can retain handle bar control and, here it comes!, It just looks cooler!! Although having the led colors changed on my stock helped, its still the same radio! And i need change, getting bored again

As others have stated my only complaint is it's a bit hard to see the display in the sun. Otherwise it's a great head unit!
