Default Condor Wheel Chock in a trailer, How many straps ???

OK, I just bought a Alama open trailer and a Condor Wheel Chock. On other trailers I have had, I always tie down like on the videos two straps from the back forward and then two soft ties around the forks just above the fender bolts and straight down the the deck. With the new trailer I don't have the room or the tie down points to do this.

Question, have many of you use a Condor and just use 2 straps to trailer ?? If you use more than two, where do you put them ??? I could drill and add more D rings if needed.

Thanks in advance for all thoughts, Be Safe JIM

Cost of straps VS cost of bike,,, + probably would not be too nice to get to your arrival and see a bike on it's side,, or to look in rear view mirror and see your bike laid over. i have two condor chocks sometimes hauling 2 bikes on a enclosed trailer and use 2 sets or ratcheting straps on the front of the bike and one set on the bikes rear tire side to side. also check tension often. a little bit of insurance usually doesn't hurt

I think like this. If Godzilla picked up my trailer and turned it upside down and shook it I want my bike to stay attached and not move. I alway put double at each point just Incase one should fail.

If you get ratchet straps that have the thin hooks, does that help? I have a similar problem when I have 2 bikes in my trailer. I believe I got my straps at home depot.

I would find a way to get those two straps in the rear.
Four straps total.
