I have harbor freight, it works but, I wish I knew that when u push down on the lever it wants to fall all the way down really fast u better be ready. if I would have been smart enough to read that little tid bit of information I would have bought something else.

I thought that I read somewhere that the hf jack will lower slower if you put max pressure on the release. that just a little pressure causes it to bleed faster..... of course, if you're going to try that, do it without the bike being on there.......

I also have the HF and not knowing better seems to work just fine. They do have a steel and aluminum version...I have steel and can regulate the down speed without any problems.
Any of the jacks will work fine. They all perform differently on how you use them. A buddy has a PitBull and really likes the turntable feature it has. He likes my J&S better, as the bike is more stable when I move it around on the jack and has a smaller foot print. His garage floor has a couple uneven spots at the expansion joints and his PitBull get's stuck there.
