15 SGS Ape question

You won't need anything but the wire extension. If you find the cables are more snug than you would like, cut one of the cable ties that hold them to the bike. There's plenty of cable for even 14" on KST's. I've done mine twice, it's an easy swap, worst of it is wiring the new bars but even that wasn't that bad.
I WOULD advise getting a new TBW throttle that doesn't have the green plug; that's where most of the post-install issues come up; but it's not required I've done it both ways.
Your brake line adjustment these guys are referring to, all you want to do is move the banjo to a more appealing position, it's like, BARELY loosen it. You want to apply pressure to the cable line fitting and just barely loosen it until it moves under pressure. It should NOT BE moving freely, you want to have to force it to move and just slightly angle the cable to a better position and tighten it right back up. None of this "1/8, 1/4" turn stuff. You just barely barely loosen it until the line can move under some pressure
To be honest, get a manual and do it yourself. It sounds complicated until you get going. I was nervous at first getting into a new, very expensive vehicle but I read through the manual, I did a dry run a few days before, I followed the manual and read and re-read all the pertinent info, and dug in there. I removed the turn signals, removed the dash, removed the outer fairing, tilted the inner toward, exposed the bar mounts, and then on it all back together. All VERY carefully, and a few days later I was totally comfortable doing it again, realizing I really had nothing to worry about. It took half a day, total. Easy, and I was really proud of myself after. Dealers want over $1000 for most bar changes. It's insane.

15 SGS Ape question
I have the 14" Mayhems and just got the Namz hand control extensions. Use wire lube used for running wire in conduit. It helped a lot street i tried it without first.
This was the first major thing i have done to a bike and if i can do, you can do it. I did it all for the cost of the bars, extensions, poly bushings, and new grips.
I'm going to be starting a 2 amp 4 speaker install shortly, also a first.

I got mine online, at Kutter if I remember right. $100
Also, you're in Monument? I'm in Denver. Need a hand, I'd be glad to help out; and as a matter of fact, I have a set of 14" gloss black KST Mayhems just sitting here, already wired with heated grips.

The only extensions you should get are the hand control wire extensions that are plug and play. $27. Why waste time moving the plug caddy on the back of the radio when you can buy extensions for $27. Brake and clutch lines are long enough, as is the TBW.
I have done 10" and 14" on a 2014 SGS and 10" bars on a 2015 Limited Low. All that was needed were the wire extensions.
