I have run many Paughco wheels over the years and consider them to be one of the best replacement wheels I have ever owned. But Paughco is pretty much a top shelf aftermarket retailer. Nothing they sell is junk. Nor is it cheap.

I don't think Paughco makes a wide 21 front wheel though. Just like a 2.25 which will look kinda goofy on the front of a touring bike. Most all the 21's people roll are much wider. I would think at least a 3 inch and probablly a 3.5 But maybe they do make one and I just am out of the loop.

I have one on my RKC. looks great, no issues, price was great. I didn't get the twisted spokes. I was considering them and my indy said the chrome is often nit as good on the twisted as opposed to the straight.

That looks phenomenal! What model Paughco wheel is that? I just went to their site and couldn't find a wheel like that. Now you got me interested in going back to a 21 up front. Please advise.

I was considering these as well and they do make the wider spoked wheels http://www.paughco.com/2008-catalog/...20Paughco.html

I opted for my current setup.

Nice looking wheel. Will keep it in mind when doing my front wheel upgrade.

Thank you, thank you, for that link. I had no idea they made that. I NEVER would have bought my chinese 21 had I known about these.

You're welcome. Those will look great on your King. I took a slightly modern route.

Yeah, your bike is one of my forum favourites. I actually cut a deal with another forum member and a set of standard chrome 40 spokes should be here in around 10 days or so. He wanted mags, and I want spokes. But i like your setup quite a bit. Slamming it really looks awesome as well.
