Default LED Headlight installation question

This is a BEFORE I ORDER question.

I have seen so many different makers of the Daymaker headlights. I have found on ebay some good priced knock offs.

My question is, I see kits with all three lights that have a mounting bracket and some that do not include the mounting bracket. None of the descriptions state which models the bracket is for.

Does anyone that has purchased know what model bikes the bracket is required for?
I have an 08 Ultra, do i need the bracket if I buy one of these?

The Harley Daymaker is plug and play requiring no adapter brackets.

Possibly you are looking at LED headlights that of generic design that require application specific adapters.

I installed the Truck Lite 7 set of lights. They were plug and play.

I have a 2002 Ultra Classic and just installed Genssi brand 7" LED and their 4.5" running lights from amazon. had to order the bracket to install the headlight. went with the $36 instead of the more expensive ones. But I already have the French trim ring. headlight was P&P. Had to cut the wire on the 4.5s lights and install the flat tab connectors. That way they would plug into the bike cables for those lamps. One thing I found was to use the rubber strip in between the headlight and bracket trim ring so the headlight would not move. have not been out on the road yet but those lights lit up the garage wall.

The ebay knock offs are junk. Just spend the money and get a good quality light.

dont trust a cheap offbrand. Truck Lite and the JW Speaker lights are the only ones that get consistently good reviews.
