I wasn't planning on doing the piston but with the 585 cam calls for different valve springs so since they were pulling the head and had a 20% off parts and labor sale..... What's a set of pistons.....

120ft lbs with a cam swap, sign me up!!

seems real high, to be frank. Seeing as the HP #'s are inline, probably true #'s so who knows.


Have you ridden it yet?

Why does are people finding 120 such a high number? These are high lift cams (.585) that required high lift springs. Fuelmoto has dyno charts that are close to 110 with stock cams and exhaust.

Sorry left out a word. Exhaust has been changed as stated in the dyno sheets. OP also has 10.5 to 1 pistons.

110 TQ with air and exhaust mods.

120 TQ with high lift cams, 10.5 to 1 pistons and exhaust and air mods.

Wondering if fuelmoto has charts of a cammed 103" making 120ft lbs. Idk?

Head work generally picks up more h/p and moves the curve to the right.

Anyway. I'm happy for the o.p. his bike is going to rock.
