bought mine off of my local HD mechanic. He runs his own small private shop and I had him install the seals and oil. I pulled the forks and took them to him, picked em up the next day.

There's a few out there, the exchange route is certainly cheaper and like has been said it looks better than HD in general. I just ordered mine on Friday and after a lot of research and talking to 3 different places I went with ***** Shiny. I found some pretty negative comments on Rick from ebay too easily so I removed him from my list (you can find negative comments on any of them, but it was too easy for him).

***** Shiny, Sport Chrome, and Bikes 2NV all had some very good reviews and were pleasant to talk to. In the end I went with ***** Shiny because of the time he took to talk to me about his processes. I'm sure the others have good prep and clean up processes as well, but Joe at ***** Shiny just impressed me more. If you're interested in getting your own stuff back Sport Chrome has a sale right now. It will take 4-6 weeks to get your stuff back, but you know exactly what you're getting. I almost went that route because my stuff is coming off a 1 mile bike, but the timing didn't work real well for me and my mechanic.
