All Touring are the same or all Harley Brembos are the same?

I now am getting so confused with the various claims on the net and FleaBay about what fits

Do the Touring models use the same calipers as the Dynas and Softails

If not is the difference in the piston size?

Do touring Brembos have 32mm pistons?

08-later Touring and 06-later Vrod are the same and are Brembos. No other Harley uses those calipers.

Haven't measured the pistons to give you an answer.

Man that is a very iffy thing to do, not to mention the fate that can happen by using "will fit" parts.

I have been trying to avoid using anything but the proper seal, but then again it is entirely possible that the Honda part is the same. I would just rather not

I could try pushing out the pistons as much as I dare, cleaning, and pushing them back in. I wonder if that spray on brake cleaner would hurt the seals - after all it is made for cleaning brakes but seems like pretty strong stuff.

Hell yes on the brake cleaner, it will remove paint and absolutely kill rubber. The old chlorinated stuff was not as bad as the non chlorinated stuff, but here in Ca and most other states that is not available anymore.
