need help laying out 7x16 trailer.
Hello all
Anyone got any links, pictures or ideas for laying out tie-downs and e-track on the floor in an 7x16 trailer?
I plan to store/haul 1-3 large bikes so I'm looking for maximum versatility. I plan to make the chocks removable so they can be re positioned depending on how many bikes are in it.
Thanks

I put e-track across the front of my 7x16 2 tie downs at mid,way of the trailer on the floor 6 inches from the walls, and 3 across the back I front of the gate. For when I just have my bike in there I put the chaulk in the middle and set it up to so I can stagger the chaulk for 2 dressed bikes and still can fit a sport bike in as well. I pull the chaulk out when I head up hunting so it is not in the way the 4 wheeler and other gear. I also put epoxy paint with the grit on the floor which also works well.

I use 2 Condor Pit-Stop Trailer-Stop Chocks. The one on the right side of the trailer is mounted with the Pit-Stop Trailer-Stop adapter Kit the chock on the left is staggered back a bit and held in place with the Pit-Stop Universal A Track Conversion Kit. 2 Ultra Limiteds in a 7 X 12 Haul Mark Low hauler.

I hauled 4 bikes to Sturgis in my 7'x16' trailer, 2 baggers, 2 standard cruisers. You will not fit 2 baggers right next to each other very easily. We ended up removing a lever here, highway peg there, etc to get it to work. And even then, you wouldn't fit 2 batwing fairing bikes side by side without staggering them slightly. I was going to go all out and do the etrack and stuff to make the trailer versatile, but it just wasn't worth it. The trailer is too small to have so many options for arrangements where you'd need the chocks and tie downs moveable. Basically once you pack more than 2 bikes in there, they stay where they are and that's where the chocks mount. I'd only bother spending the money on e-track (which was going to cost me like $400 if I recall) if I had an 8 or 8.5' wide by 20' trailer. Then you could literally drive two bikes in right next to each other followed by two more right behind it and adjust their position accordingly.

E Track is not cheap but if you shop around you can find good prices.
