Default Dunlop American Elite

I have to put some new sneakers on the Street Glide and was wondering if I could get some feedback on the Dunlop American Elites? Thanks

That's a great tire. I'm getting 16k out them.

I am sure there are plenty of threads out there on this subject but will respond. I have about 13k on mine with Dyna beads and they have performed great. I check them once a month or so for the correct air pressure. I think I will get another 7 to 10k miles out of them as the tread is in really good shape. Good luck with your decision.

A lot of threads and opinions on this forum. Just do a search and browse through. Personally I'm happy with mine

I was planning to get the Michelin Commander II (good luck with them) but they didn't offer a narrow whitewall version. I'm very happy with the performance of the Dunlop American Elite's. I'll stick with them now.

I have run them since they came out. I am very happy with them in all conditions.

Love them. I have over 70,000 miles on my 09 Ultra and I've had a few sets of the stock D407/408f and the American Elites. Hands down the AE's feel better new, feel better as they wear, wear better, and last longer. I really don't know why as the stock tire s and AE's are both dual compound dunlops so theoretically should be exactly the same but they're not. Go for it. You'll love them.

They do look like you'll get a ton more out of them but I usually find they're done (rear) at about 15-17k. The tread looks really deep until you get right up close to the rear and really look and realize the wear marker is coming right up in the center. The edges will look great.
