Default IAT codes PO 108, PO 113

Sorry, but I am having an issue with IAT codes. This happened to me last summer and I had it replaced (the IAT). Now it's happening again. Is it possible an IAT can foul from oil ? I notice an occasional oil leak at the bottom of my air breather cover. Or should I look at the electrical connection. This is starting to get frustrating. The only plus if any, is I have a bumper to bumper warranty still intact... Anyone ???

So take it in and have it fixed and anything you suspect is wrong.

I had the last IAT sensor installed in Sept of 15. I don't have a lot of miles on this one. I was wondering if anyone else had any similar issue ? The sensor is about 100.00 ... I was wondering if the oil thick air from the breather could cause it to fail. Or if I should suspect electrical harness / connection issues ? It's just funny that this one failed so quickly after replacement...

They should be able to test the sensor to see if it is bad. I had the same codes on my Sportster last year and it turned out to be a bad wiring harness. Could be just a loose connection somewhere.

Any other issues when it is running? Mine would cut the engine power for a second and the CEL would come on.

No other issues that I could speak of. We'll see what the shop finds. I'll ask them to check both...Sensor and electrical...
