Sorry about the accident. Congrats on the new bike. I would do exhaust, intake and grips and be done.

Rear shocks. Since it's a RG Special, it has the hand-adjustable, shorter-stroke, POS shocks. Progressive 444's would make a big difference.

Call Fuel Moto.

Air filter, exhaust, tuner and one of their maps will wake your new toy up and make it sound better. Second upgrade would be suspension but that's what I consider a very important. Third ride it and watch out for morons taking left turns.

Glad you are alright and back on the horse as they say.

Congratz on the new ride!

Wondering if the dealer did a full tin swap with a special or had to order in a full set of tins, as I don't believe that the 2 tone option is available on a special. looks as if even the rear fender is of the ultra variety. - on the opposite end, someone may have been able to buy a "converted ultra to special" that has a twin cooled motor. - Interesting

Never the less, they have some cash in getting that completed, guessing you got one hell of a deal.

As far as spending your $, get rid of the cat (very hot) and add some slip ons, get a real windshield, that shorty one offers little to no wind protection, add a drivers backrest and possibly a bar swap. - There you go, spent your money, LOL

I'll have to call the sales guy today, for some reason I was thinking maybe the shocks were upgraded to the Ultra ones. I'll check. If not, thanks for the suggestion, a few others have said the same.

It was ordered from HD with these options, so maybe HD let them paint a Special with the Ultra two-tone red? Because you are correct, I couldn't find any option for a Special to be that color, and the rear fender is the Ultra one.

Was wondering the same thing, but thinking about it, my Sportster color came in two-tone for the color I wanted but I was able to order in a single color. I guess HD can do anything.

Beautiful bike, glad you're OK and eager to saddle up again. I'll just repeat what several others have said, pipes, Mufflers, AC and a Dynojet Power Vision. Enjoy the new ride!

glad you recovered and 'getting back on the horse'. Probably what you said with accessories and wind protection for any head buffeting. Maybe a CVO seat. good luck ride safe
