Default What did you do to Raise passenger floorboards

So my passenger is short. She has a little trouble getting her whole foot on the boards.
Several months ago i bought a used set of those multi position "highway pegs" that mount onto the floorboard mount.
My bike is a 2011 Ultra. The passenger floorboard mount is widest where it attaches to the bike and and narrower towards the floorboards, however the "highway peg" mounting bracket is the same size all the way through so they would not work.

What are my different options to raise the boards on an 11' Ultra.

thanks,

I used the reduced reach passenger board mounts from HD. My GF at the time was 5 foot nothing tall She liked them, but her calves would hit against the crash bar. I later bought the Rivco adjustable mounts. They allowed her to put the boards at an angle. She said it was a lot more comfortable than the flat boards, plus when stopping she could push against the board to keep from sliding forward.

I found a picture with the Rivco installed on my 11 EGC

I have both sets of mounts still. The Hd reduced reach and the Rivco adjustable. I traded the bike in so they're for sale if interested. Both sets are black.

The mounts are adjustable, make sure they are in the top hole. Remove top bolt and loosen the bottom, it should slide up. There may be a plastic plug in the top hole, remove it.

are you sure they're adjustable on the 11' ? the part that attaches to the bike is molded to the exact same shape as the bike and doesnt seem like it could move up or down.

Reduced reach brackets are on my bike for my wife. She likes them much better than the stock ones.

Reduced reach brackets are your answer...plus have your rider wear boots with thicker soles.

YES, they are adjustable. Three different positions.

Remove bolt #1, and loosen Bolt #3 as mentioned above.

Slide Foot board up or down as needed.
Bolt #1 then goes back into one of the top 3 holes as show in #4

Note: Its possible they are already in the highest position.

ok, I've inspected these several times and dont think they are, but I am going to give them a serious inspection tonight with maybe a pic or two

but if you look at your diagram, part#4 is exactly the same size as the part bolts 1 & 3 go through. there is no travel distance at the top or botom of #4. if I raised up or down, one of my bolts wouldnt have anywhere to go i dont think....
