One of the things that always distinguished the RG's was the cleaner lines and fenders. Now the only difference between the RG and the EG is the fairing (which of course is far better than a batwing).
Nitpicks for sure. And I completely agree.

I have to agree as well. I have an '11 RGU and I always like how clean it looks compared to the other touring bikes. The Rushmore bikes all look the same from behind and too busy in my opinion.

Stereo sucks. Easy upgrade, but stock sucks for that kind of money.

Seat, typical Harley, I went with a Mustang dual tour. Problem solved.

Stock windshield sucks. Lots of aftermarket choices, I went with a clearview, light tint, 15". Makes the front end look large, but damn is it comfortable on long hauls.

Once I changed those, I made mine, my perfect bike.

I had a 06RG that I put over 100K miles on, then I bought a 16RGU. Never even looked at the other models.

They still don't have enough travel in the rear shocks.

No real dislikes anything I have issue with is nitpicking. Heated grips stock would be nice. Ride the **** out of it. Sadly I've only clocked 10k on my 16 RGU so far but an 800 mile run on the tail end of a 3000 mile trip at the beginning of this month and now today's 600 mile run at the beginning of this trip have me thinking I might like a hammock seat.

Just returned from a two week ride with wife . about 4000 miles total. Yesterday we rode 810 miles home. It was not planned that way but , with weather that was coming and few other things we just finished the ride back. My only gripe is the GPS.
GPS is not a big issue with me but if it is there it should work right. It works but on a 2016 the maps should be more to update. This is not my first RG or RGU. Just wish I could turn around and take off again for another two weeks on it. Grandma and grandpa are far from done yet.
