Blown speaker

I have the extended warranty, the factory having longe since expired.
Been a while since I read it but I'm pretty sure the only things not covered are wear items like brake pads, clutch, etc.
I'd want to know why it was denied and maybe even get a second opinion.

It was the right rear speaker on my 2014 flhtkse and the bike is stock, no amp other than the one that came with it. The dealer said he called and the extended warranty didn't cover speakers. I said Bull **** but what could I do, he said I had to pay for the speaker. I said it would be a cold day in hell if he thought I would pay for a speaker that won't last and is not covered. I left with the bike with a blown speaker.

Be very careful and do your homework before just changing out speakers with your amped HD system because I've heard of those running extremely low impedance and matching up ohm ratings will be very important. You can always go to a higher ohm speaker, but will lose volume and sound quality. Hope this helps. Also if you think you just had a bad speaker, go to the audio section of the classifieds and post you are looking for a factory speaker. I gave mine away, but guessing you could find a stocker that will match pretty easy.
