Passing Lights on High Beam Mod

Passing Lights on High Beam Mod
Does anyone know of a pic tutorial or video on switching the connector wires to keep your passing lights on during high beam? I have the wiring diagram that gets posted here, but I need something a little easier to follow. Wiring is not my area of expertise. Thanks for the help.

diy mods sticky above has 300 posts on doing this- some require buying an adapter...some soldering or other method.
mine took 60¢ and 3 minutes
there are maybe 1000 poss of the garage door opener- some easy, some hard some cheap...
that sticky is really worth a read from start when you have time to kill

Thanks. This is the diagram I've seen before, but this is the first time I think I understand it. It looks like I can access this by just pulling the switch dash... correct? Also, I just remembered I'm not using my front fender tip light wire because I replaced the front fender with a non-lighted RG fender. That wire is just tucked up inside and could easily be re-routed to the passing lamp switch. Does that sound like it might also work? I seem to remember the fender tip light as always being on with the ignition switch.

Again, I'm not that experienced in wiring. Can someone recommend the best method for connecting the yellow wire to the orange/red wire in the diagram?
Is there some kind of snap-on connector that will tie the two wires together by piercing the insulation? Or, will I need to trim back a section of the insulation to tie it in?
Thanks
