Default Extended Warranty - Did you bite

I thought I'd try a poll. I'm thinking of getting the extended warranty, but I tend to never use them. So I thought I'd ask everyone's opinion and take a poll to see the numbers. Please include any experiences good or bad you had.
Safe riding to all!!

Simple really. How much do you ride. If you ride 20-60K a year pretty good deal. If you ride 2K a year likely not. Those in between have to decide what their own risk level is.
Had it on my 07 it paid having it in 75K once you add back the refund I got when I traded.
Did not have it on 2011 or 2013 lot of miles with no issues. I will be adding it to the 2016 before the factory on is up.
There are a lot of threads on the subject. Most filled with disagreement.

Yep, I bit. Twice.

1st on my '08 Deluxe, purchased in June '14 from a Harley dealer. Had a little warranty work done right off the bat to fix some mild head shake, but that was covered under the dealer's 60 day included warranty. Traded the Deluxe in last weekend for an '11 FLHTK with the extended warranty never used. Will be getting roughly 1/3 of the purchase price of the warranty back (pro-rated refund).

2nd on the '11 FLHTK, purchased from a large used bike dealer (non HD dealership). So far no issues, bike seems to be running great. Same length warranty with essentially the same coverages through these guys was just over half the price of Harley's, and the deductible is half as well. No idea how the warranty company is to deal with though.

I look at it as paying for peace of mind. Worth it to me.

I did not purchase ext. warranty on my current bike when I purchased it. No breakdowns to date.

No I did not, never have. Use the money for service manuals and tools and lights, and accessories...

I use this substance called "cash" to pay for things like repairs that are not covered by the basic warranty.

So far the strategy had saved me many thousands of dollars.
