Default Brake pads with polished rotors

Hey guys, for the ones with polished rotors, what brake pads are you running? I just ordered chrome wheels and polished rotors and I'd like to change the pads to something with less dust, and that wont ruin the polished rotors.

I bought these pads, but for a 2007 (different calipers) from the same company and have had no problems. They generally don't scratch the rotors but for awhile will leave some dark residue on the rotors. I use the spray on chrome cleaner that you just hose off to remove it but anymore I don't even bother and it does not do it near as much now. I have these pads on front and rear as I have polished DNA rotors on all around.

These have been on my street glide front brakes with chrome rotors for 2 years and the rotors still look new. Pricey but great brakes.

I just run stock pads. No issues. I don't think it matters what pads you run, the area of the polished rotor in constant contact with the pads is going to scuff in.

That wasn't the question.

Thanks guys. Anyone use the EBC double H pads? It sounds like the Lyndall gold or Z plus are what most are using.

I have the Lyndall Z+ on polished stainess steel rotors, Great stopping power, You can see where they wear but still shiney and very very little dust to clean off.

He had more than one question and one was a pad that won't ruin the polished rotor. I don't know of any pad that won't scratch the polished rotor. Maybe some are running pads made of jeweler's rouge and cotton?

It probably wouldn't show so much wear if the rotors were polished in the same direction as they turn instead of radially. It's the different directions that cause the shine to look worn when the wear areas are actually smoother/shinier (sp) than the inner area.
