I earned the dreaded "I dumped it patch" while on vacation in Colorado earlier this month. I was amazed how little they go over.

I drop my baggers all the time. I just pick them up facing the bike. I never liked the idea of not being able to see. Hard to grab it if it goes over, and turning yourself around to get control of it is awkeard.

1 year in over 20, that I didn't tip over a bike. There might have been a year early on that I didn't because bike was broken down most of year.

They got 2 wheels.

I spend lots of time on gravel and mud. But most drops are on pavement.

Just watch doing that if you have stock bars. I used to lift weights a lot so I know we can do it but I did bend a set of bars being a little quick on the ****** up.

Dropped mine once, in the back yard on the driveway practicing. Instant Oh Sh** moment, but I picked it up easily, pushed the board down after I propped it on the jiffy. At 3 to 4MPH I wasn't too worried about damaged.

I should have dropped it the first night I had it after grabbing too much front brake at a stop light (yes, since learned NO front brake under 20MPH unless it's a panic stop) but my pride wouldn't let me...and my knee paid the price for a few weeks.

I hear ya, my Road king was stock, never bent the bars but the bushings usually don't last long. Stock ones at least. Getting older, one day I'm sure it won't be easy.
