So i have a bassani road rage II 2 into 1 exhaust on my street glide. If i wanted to keep the head pipe and just change the muffler to say a D&D fat cat or something along those lines do you think it would be possible? Or has this been done before with mixing and matching 2 into 1's? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the Dia. at the opening at the inlet of both mufflers and the distance from the inlet to the rear muffler hanger on both mufflers.
Why do you want to change out your muffler?

 

i love the way the d&d sounds. Wish i went with the fat cat to begin with, just dont feel like dropping another grand on a new exhaust after just spending almost that 6 months ago on the bassani
