Personally,I would go now if theres a certain color you're looking at.Think you're the only one looking for a good deal on the 16's?And with the EPA crap going on,the 16's may be in huge demand right now. You'll still get a good deal now.

With the unveiling of the new bike and chatter about settlement with the EPA, there sure is much to think about. Are the 16s now more desirable? How much of a discount on the left over 16s? What do the gear heads think about the new design?

Thanks as always
Emil

Dealers have to move the 16s quick so the ball is in your court. I've seen discounts as much as $4,000 on cvos and some dealers offer sticker price with a free 117ci upgrade on CVOs and 110 upgrade on non-cvo bikes. That includes parts and labor. I would offer them a crazy low price and make them say no as a starting point.
I saw CVO road glide ultra's on the floor in Baton Rouge at 31,499, local dealer here in Tulsa has them on the floor at 32,659 thats the out the door price. That's only a few grand more than I paid for my 16 RGU with an additional 2 years of warranty in Sept of 2015.

One of my best buds just pulled the trigger 2 months ago and paid $24,000 OTD for his. Best deal I've heard of, and yes I saw the bill of sale so I know it's true-

I would test ride a 2017 and probably buy it.

I've never feared 1st year models. There is a 2 year warranty etc.

I told my wife about the new bike and the reported improvements. I told her there would probably be big discounts on the 2016 models. She told me to buy what makes me happy and not to sweat the money. What a great wife - happy for all 28 years of marriage.👍🏻
