Looks like they did more than just the engine. At least they are making an effort to improve the suspensions. Time will tell.

No CVO RGU. No CB radio on the Limited.

I thought CB's went out with smoky and the bandit?? Just teasing... But I bet there isnt a big market for them anymore with all the bluetooth other technologies.

I must say I am pretty stoked. I was already planning on getting a new SGS in '17. Now I get the new engine, new suspension, and really digging that Laguna orange.

What can replace the CB????? Nothing I know of.

Going and returning from Sturgis I didn't hear a single transmission. I kept asking for a radio check and got nothing. I can't believe truckers are not talking to each other anymore.

I had to buy the CB for my '14TG so I could communicate with my friends and the chapter road captains.

You're kidding right.....?

I have the CB on my '12 Limited but have never used it. All the people I ride with use bluetooth headsets on their helmets. They all talk to each other and I just listen to music over my intercom....

I can talk w/ the wife when she's on the back....

How do you communicate to other drivers/riders that don't have your number?????

So what you're saying is every truck driver has every other truck drivers phone number = REALLY!!!

No, I'm not kidding. We use our CB's on every single chapter and personal ride.

At least I'm glad to hear that you and your friends wear helmets.

If it was up to me, I'd ban all communication devices from all moving vehicles.

Looking online at the HD website they show a Boom! Audio 20S Bluetooth Helmet Dual Headset Pack Part Number 76000740 for $550 that looks like a Sena 20S. But what they do not state is if it will connect to the boom radio. Guess I will stick with my CB and wired headset.

I'm new to technology. I certainly am not an expert. I just assume everyone understands it at least as much as I do.... sorry about that...

Not sure on the specifics, but the bluetooth headsets talk to each other... there is no phone involved... just have to be in range...

http://www.sena.com/product/20s/

Not sure if they just all can talk within proximity of each other or if there is an initial pairing that needs to be done...

But there is a small group of people (4) I ride with and they are all on Harleys but I'm the only one with a CB. They are all chatting away on their bluetooth headsets as we ride....

I don't need to talk so much that I'm going to invest in one.... but most of the riding groups I'm aware of use these headsets.... A group can talk regardless of bike make or equipment .... just need one of these bluetooth things on your helmet... I did see a thread where there was a company that makes a dongle that plugs into the HD intercom system, to allow for bluetooth sets to be heard over the hd system... but it had limitations... like I said, I just don't need to talk that much...

I think that's why HD is phasing out the CB....
