Default Battery Tender frustration

Seriously I'm getting tired of replacing these things. In five years I've went through three! I've tried different outlets thinking that maybe the culprit, but no change. Two HD ones, and now my battery tender Jr. isn't working. Went out to to fire up the bike for a ride and the bike barely turned over. I look over at the tender plugged in,and noticed the light was out on the display

Yeah, something isn't right.

I am still using two of them I've had since 2008.
They are both the small ones from Harley

I agree, I have been using my Jr. for over 12 years with no issues.

Battery Tender has a great guarantee. Send it back to them (I believe it's a Florida address) and they replace it, no questions asked!

Best company I've ever dealt with! I have Tenders on my three bikes, boat and lawn mower.

P.s. Shop the internet. For the same price that Harley charges for the "junior," you can get the real deal.

I use Schumacher chargers. They make a pretty good 1.5a charger. Mine has lasted me 8 years so far.

Just picked one of these up at wally world when they had them on sale for $12.

I have one on my bike, one on the wifes now, and rotate one between the side by side and the mower. so far so good for the price.

Maybe I'm wrong here but the tender senses voltage from the battery and the charging circuit within the unit starts the charge process. I'm thinking if the mini-fuse on the battery pigtail is blown or missing how is the tender unit going to sense the battery voltage. I would check this fuse.

FWIW ... Rob, have you checked the outlet that you're plugged in to for proper voltage?

Ugh,so of course it is just me. Tried two Harley tenders, and my last one was a Battery tender jr model. I know Harley just slaps their name on them anyway, but still!
