Hey guys, we are heading down to Gatlinburg in early October the 8th to 13th to be exact. Looking for a motel by a stream hopefully. We've stayed in a cabin outside of town and in Maggie Valley looking for something in town. Been looking online but I know there is way more than the web site shows. If anybody has a good tip it will be appreciated. Jim

Check out Smokey Shadows try to get a room in the back, it is on the pigeon river I Think that is it. It is in pigeon forge though, not far from gatlinburg. It is an older hotel but it is clean. My wife and I were there 2 weeks ago.
