Still happy with my 16 year old Road King. IMHO the worst possible motorcycle, car, truck, boat, or lawn mower you can buy is the first year release. Got burned once, never again. Let these companies shake the bugs out of their vehicles.

I just signed paperwork last night traded my 2009 night train and 2013 road glide. As much as i loved two bikes, the upkeep, reg, insurance etc is just a lot. plus i really only ever road one. so i got a new road glide ultra and i am building it like a dream bike. a lot i would still like to do but money is not unlimited. I think what i will miss the most is my FM107 kit and their pipes i loved. But i miss having a black glide and i am happy to go back to one. Didn't jump so much for the motor, but the motor on top of suspension and really on top of the rushmore improvements with GPS, and phone plug in, pushed me over.

There hasn't been enough changes made to the new bike to justify the due called upgrade in my opinion. So I will be keeping my 14 SGS and have to be happy with the puny 120r it has in it.

I'll be keeping my '13 Street Glide, I've almost got it where I want it and can't justify the new one only to start over with making it what it should be.

Will keep my '16 RGU - unless she's totaled (which I should know about tomorrow), then I will most like get the '17 RGU.

I've ridden a 17 FLHTK and was impressed. Liked the engine and suspension but not near enough to upgrade. I keep my bike mechanically and cosmetically in near perfect condition. In fact I may even replace my engine if and when the time comes with an S&S T-111 instead of upgrading to a new motorcycle. I love my 2013 and to the OP 09 Yellowbird. I love your bike and would keep it for life as long as it treats you well.

Default No trade for me....

Let's see. I have a 2011 103 SG with stage 2 that is comparable to the 107.. lots off extras and paid for. If I trade, I will get a smoother idle, payments again and a potential oil leak. No thank you.

I'm really at a turning point.
Keep my trusty, well known 05 Ultra with all kinds of chrome, goodies, etc.
Look at the deals they're giving for '16s between price, financing, goodies and offers.
Test ride a 17 and fall in love with the m8, good or bad, first year motor.
Wait for the 18, rumored new frame and see if 17's go for a steal if the 18's are worth it.

Snow is about to fly here in MI. I may wait until snow, see what dealers have for 16s and how hard they really want to push them out the door. Who knows.
