Default lowering a low?

I have a 15 Ultra Limited Low and had to replace the LOW seat with a regular EG seat for comfort purposes but in doing so I gained about 2 inches in height back. Is there a lowering kit that fits the Low that will bring the seat height back down? Any other suggestions are also welcome. Thanks

Watch out for those road reflectors they stick on the road.
When you start hitting them, you have gone too low!

I would suggest getting the LOW seat modified for comfort.

A company like Mean City Cycles can mod your seat with foam and gel, etc, without raising it.

If you start lowering an already low suspension, the thing is going to ride like a hard tail!

I agree with the above...

You might consider a Corbin seat, the "standard" Corbin sits 1" or so lower, the firmer bucket of the Corbin is comfortable...

Seats are subjective, there's a ton of distance riders that will only use Corbin, I am one of them...

I've lowered my wife's Limited Low with lowering blocks and Progressive 944UT shocks which are same length but better then 12" Harley premium shocks.Keep in mind shocks might rub on the saddle bags with lowering blocks I had to modify the lower part shocks to prevent any damage.

I sat on a Ultra Low at the dealership. I was warned it was a tight fit. Yep not much room to dance in there. I couldn't get out of that fast enough. It was pretty uncomfortable.

Lowering blocks can put the geometry out of wack a bit. The seat is your best bet. When lowering a bike you lose a lot of the handling capability. It will scrape easier in turns too, especially if the front is lowered as well.

Why do you want to lower it? Enjoy what you have!

Age and arthritis are starting to bother me. I have a narrowed seat that made a huge difference. You can also try combine the low seat with something like an air hawk inflatable seat pad. It adds minimal height and I starting using one this year and the difference in comfort was amazing. You can find them used starting round $50 on CL. I found the best price for new on eBay. I won't be riding without one from now on. My wife has one too.
