Talking "Old mans' bike"

Ya ever notice how the fella's with the stripped down bikes are the first to comment about baggers being an "old mans' bike", or "that's not what a motorcycle is supposed to be", are also the first ones to ask the bagger riders to carry their stuff?

I've done my days traveling 1000+ miles, on a cafe bike, in under 24 hours and sleeping in a ranger roll at the races.

My 31 year old son, sportbike rider, took mine out for spin. I knew he would be down about it because the bike is completely different from his. Came back grinning ear to ear. Go figure. He was all about being stretched out, comfortable, even thought it performed well for what it is

Now he is shopping for Road Kings

Took the words right out of my mouth. I can carry a few cases of beer on my EG. How much can you carry on your sporty?

OK, OK, I ride an old man bike. But it's a HARLEY!!!

I wouldn't have wanted a "Bagger" 30 years ago, nor could I afford one. Lot's of changes have come with age. I didn't even want a "Full-Dresser" 7 years ago, I must be aging in dog years.
