Saw this on St. Louis Craigslist today. Search Motorcycles Dec. 7. This is not my bike and I don't know whose it is, or do I know anything about it. It tweaked my interest and thought it might do the same for someone else. As you might guess it's rough. Doesn't read like a scam. Have fun.

I love these guys who are selling a piece of ***t and they say "firm"!

 

Doesn't seem to have a twist-grip, so I'm not sure how it can run. No mention of the missing fender and - what else?!

 

"Needs a head light and little else" Mmmmmm Okay.

Well, maybe $250..... but

 

I do a lot of bartering/selling/buying on Craigslist and if you are careful, (and packing) you can get some good deals. But..... I called on an add for 90's firebird, strong motor, rebuilt trans, need to trade for better car for wife/kid. I drove to see it (only 8 miles away) and was going to offer trade my 98 Buick 4 door. I only paid $300 and it does run really smooth, everything works except 2 windows. Anyway, what a POS this car was. Granted engine sounded good, supposedly 355 rebuild, trans shifted into gear. But the interior was trashed. Front was smashed and they threw another front clip on with about 4 bolts and primered everything to match. Wires cut and hanging everywhere, drivers window held up with a piece of tree wood. WOW, what a pile of crap. He didn't mention any of this in his add and so I passed and he said another guy was going to drive 3 hours to trade him a dodge truck if I didn't want it. I left and wondered if the driver throat punched him when he got there for not telling him it was basically and engine and trans with a bunch of crap wrapped around it. LOL

 

It's a lifetime of bad decisions that resulted in the first nut that was turned counter clockwise on this bike.
