Default Who's over 70 and still ride an Ultra?

Just curious how many are over 70 and still riding an Ultra. I have toyed with the notion of going to a lighter bike, but this weekend's ride convinced me that I would miss the comfort and extras of my CVO Ultra. I turned 70 in October and I realize that my riding days are numbered so I plan to enjoy it every chance I get. I do try to avoid gravel parking lots and parking on slopes as much as possible though.

I also turned 70 in October.
10/18 same birthday as Lee Harvey Oswald. (Not many parents name their kid Lee Harvey anymore.)

Age is just an atitude.
I intend to ride to the west coast from Iowa this year. Did it before.

Keeping my '07 UGC and '02 Sportster and I ride as much as I can.

76 here. Like you, I also avoid parking on slopes that would require pushing the bike uphill to get it out. My J&S jack is a big help in the garage, not only for working or cleaning, but turning the bike around to exit. I have a trip planned out west this summer, I'm thinking that'll be a last hurrah! I see an old Mustang in my not too distant future in lieu of the Ultra!

I'm a few months behind you and ride a Glide (plus a Firebolt) which I don't plan on getting rid of any time soon. I have already looked at smaller bikes, with an eye on the future, as a few friends have for various reasons already down sized. Another who is in his '80s still rides big bikes, although he's never owned a Harley.

I just turned 70 and ride a RK. No plans to downsize for a while.

My father-in-law rode an Ultra at 80 when he finally quit.

I might go to a Triumph T120 someday ... it's a lot lighter and cool, classic styling.

In 2015 my Bro-inlaw turned 75 and he decided he was done biking. He sold his 09 EG Classic.By the spring of 2016 he was lookin for another bike.I found him a low milage 08 Heritage Classic in mint condition. He is back in the saddle again. The thing he noticed most about the Softail,is how much smoother it rides than his EG.Also it is lighter and easier to move around, plus the lower ride height.I think he has a few more years riding left in him now.

Hats off to all you guys!

I plan to still be riding my touring bike at 70+ God willing.

I ride with two guys over 70 that ride touring models. I think one thing that helps them both is they are over 6foot tall.

I'll be 70 in few months and have no interest in riding anything other than a touring bike. I hope to ride till the end. If not a '32 Ford 3 window coupe is in my plans.
