I would not pay 29K for a 24K mile 2015 CVO, even if Taylor Swift sat on it.
I would get a brand new, no stink, Ultra and make it a convertible so I can
use the tour pack for traveling. Stage 1 on an M8 would be a good start for me.

I vote sgs well proven drive train and completely customizable to your taste. Just my opinion. I think buying a bike is like any other big purchase ( you know it when you see it) so if your undecided go with your original gut feeling

Gonna take my time with this decision but want to know y'alls input.

My friend said he would rather buy a used CVO that has pretty much everything on it vs. a stock one that you need to put your mark on. Thoughts?

New M8 SGS vs. High priced used CVO SG with a lot of miles or Used Twin Cam SGS?

Thanks in advance

soon to be Harley noob
The used 16 SG has another $2-$2500 discount available. Base your decision on that. The market is flooded with 2016 and older Batwing bikes. I am not a CVO buyer, I like to make my bikes my own with my labor. I don't want a "finished" bike. My enjoyment comes from mods and riding. If you want a turnkey ride, buy a CVO. They hold a good resale.

Do you like the color? What color is the 015? I had a chance to ride the new 017 cvo street glide and it is probably the nicest bike I have ever got to ride! Man what a bike. They would have made me a deal to trade that would be worth looking at. But at the end of the day I love my 015 down to the color. So long story short the 015 cvo street glide at the right price and the right color is still one fine bike!

Does that 110 motor have overheating issues ? I love my M8 and its fast. Not a big fan of all the chrome on CVo's. Too hard to keep from pitting here on Jersey Shore. If you love chrome I guess it would be pretty expensive to bring a standard bike up to CVO level. Ultimately...they are all good!

Heat hasn't been a big deal to me but it is a big motor and you are sitting on top of it, just how it is! The wife's softail slim s is one that gets hot but you really don't have anything to block the heat on that bobber! Still not a deal breaker. As far as the Cromer goes it depends on the color cvo street glide you get some are blacked out for the most part and some are all chrome
