Default air ride question

what is the difference in air line sizes? I mean does it make a difference? what should i be looking for? I'm currently looking at Xotic air, one is a 1/4 the other is a 5/32 line. Thanks in advance

Most kits/lines are available in 1/4 or 1/8.

make sure all your lines and fittings are the same size.

i run 1/4" dot lines and fittings. Worth the extra cost to me.

im running the JNR designed which comes with 1/4" , 1/8 " always came with car air shock kits which you adjusted with an air hose and not on the fly using an onboard compressor

5/32 is just a tick over 1/8 and personally I would go with the 1/4

ok good...i'm just trying to decide which one is best for me...I'm 350 and 5'9" i want softer ride but still low enough to be flat footed. stocks i was on ***** of my feet at the "comfortable" spot, so i put progressive 412's...rough as hell...very stiff but brought me closer to the flat foot.

I only weigh 160 but at 5'5" needed to lower the bike for walking it around.. best part about the air ride is being able to adjust it on the fly once you get moving..

obviously in stop and go that doesn't work but once you hit the highway or KNOW you wont be stopping for a while you can adjust air until the ride is where you want it, when you come to a stop you can lower until you are moving steady again.. this is what I have been doing on my last couple rides and it works great.

I will be adding a reading designs grip switch to mine before rolling thunder in May to make adjustment easier over JNRs stock location
