I keep one of these with all my bikes that need one. I do not have any problems with air loss - even with the air shocks on Road King and Sportster that have a very small volume of air. The difference between open and closed on the schrader valve when removing the extension is less than a full turn. I check my air pressure like a kardashian checks the mirror.

let the flaming begin, i always ran honda tubes on my spokes, long 45 valve stem.

Yes ... leaving these types on can also cause problems ( failures) with the valve stem in regards to the tube.

This is the best tool for the job. It's the only way I can get air into my rear tire because of the spokes.
