Default Replacing Amber lenses.

My Ultra is black and I'm thinking about getting rid of the amber lenses. Not sure which direction I want to go. I was thinking about smoke but have also considered red. I also have the front and rear fender tip lenses, amber in front and red in back. I was wondering what some of you have done and if you could post some pictures. Thanks !

No matter if my bike is dark or a brighter color I always go with smoked lenses. Just like the look. If you want to change things up a bit add the Kury (pretty sure that who makes mine) turn signal modulator. Makes the rear turn signals come on with brake so you are a bit more lit up which is always a good thing.

Use smoke lenses and cut the light output. It is better to look good than to feel good!

All smoked.

I went that route with all my lenses and it really cleans up the look IMO. They aren't super dark, the lights are all very visible still.

I prefer the smoked in most cases. They work well with LED Inserts. On my last RGU the Red looked right on the silver and black bike. On my new Black hills Gold a Quartz black I am smoking the lights. The CD dynamic rings in front with smoked lens really light you up. The CD LED in front show white when not flashing as turn signals.

I have the same smoked lenses on the front as Smitty. There is no degredation of light output.

Most smoked turn signal lenses are very lightly smoked, and if you have LEDs, they are very bright, if there's any reduction in output you'd be very hard pressed to tell, my turn signals are annoyingly bright.

I replaced all lenses with smoke, and changed all bulbs to LED along with getting a load equalizer. Got the tail light from Radiantz and the signal light lenses/bulbs, headlight bulb, light bar bulbs, and load equalizer from Fuel Moto. I got the Halo front turn signal LED lenses, they have a white light when bike is running, then amber when the turn signal is activated. My tail light lense is the lay-down version which I like better. I kept the stock turn signal housings, I know many switch to bullets or something smaller than stock but I like the beefier look of the stock housings.
