Could you tell if the leak is behind the pulley or on the outer side of the pulley. That will tell you if it's the trans main seal or the seal at the end of the output shaft

can't tell by looking at it, but I put red dye in the trans, so it must be the trans seal leaking.

Could also be the shifter shaft seal leaking, you will know soon enough when you pull it apart!

This maybe stupid cause I am a noob. But did you replace the o ring that goes around the shaft?
Its part number 11165 quad seal......
I don't know if it can leak there or not, but I put a new one on mine.

let's see a pic of the main gear splines...... that's the part that the pulley slips onto.

was the pulley fit tight or was there any looseness between the 2 sets of splines?

It fits really tight. It's a new pulley.
