Thanks for the reviews everyone. I'm going with the Thundermax. Should be done by tomorrow with the Fat Cat's as well. I'll post my initial impression later in the week.

Don't want to upset the wagon, and I'm getting ready to also go TM..have a quick question.
Buying direct from Zippers do I inderstand correctly they will load the base map to the bike setup? I know it's about $100- $150 more than if I buy from Shooter64. Shooter, do you also load base map?
Also, I do not have a laptop and have read the 14 page download installation guide from the TM website. Talks about loading software, ajusting this/that.... Is all that necessary for an 07 TM w/autotune??? Only thing holding me back is the installation deal and all the 'puter stuff the guide talks about...I barely know how to turn my desktop on!!!

Does anyone know if a 07' Thunder Header would fit on an 05'?? Reason I'm asking is they make the Thunder Header with 02 sensors bungsfor the 07'. Probably easier to sell my 05' pipe and buy an 07' if it will fit on..I know they are different motors but by chance hoping they will fit.

Anyone??

Default Thunder max auto tune

Last winter I had an up grade to a 103 with heads and cams. After my break in period I bought a S.E. super tuner and had the engine dino tuned. After about 1000 miles I was not happy with all the back firing and popping. I order the Thunder max auto tuner and installed it myself with no problems. Been riding all day and I cant believe this is the same bike. No kidding it runs like a dream. It's alittle ruff a idle but I can tell it's getting better. Long story short, I LOVE IT..

I would like to re-open this post.

I have a 2005 Ultra, with 95, s&s gear cams, just ordered Reinharts True Duals w O2 sensors ports, and would like to order the ThunderMax W-Auto tune, but the cost is slowing down the order , but I also don't want to settle and order a PCIII and regret it,

So is best to wait until i can afford it? or settle with a PCIII
