I don't get why people always say I spent 20k on a bike and I won't use a $75 whatever. What in the he!! does how much one spends on an item have to do with how much they spend on a tool. If you are looking at proportion shouldn't you spend $1000 on the hammer you use on your $300000 house, or is a $15 one good enough? If it works, you don't need to have it made out of gold.
I will sell $1000 hammers to those of you who want to continue to use that logic. They will be yellow, not red.

Many 40+ thousand dollar cars come with a very basic inexpensive looking jack.
AND if for some reason someone wanted to purchase a new car jack from the dealer it would cost a nut. Price does not equate to quality 100% of the time.
