oil cooler fan vs. Oil cooler

Anyone using a fan instead of the oil cooler? I have read some fans that say they drop the temp 20 degrees? Oil coolers are getting 10-15! what do you think?

Uhhhhh, What would the fan blow on? What products/website you looking at?

I installed the premium oil cooler on my 2007 SG at the 1K service and used Mobile 1 V-Twin Syn in motor and Mobile 1 75W-140 in Tranny and it seems to run cooler and easier here in Texas heat.

The fan in question is in the Harley catalog under the touring section claims a 20 degree drop

been lots of reports of HD fans not lasting. I'm sticking to the oil cooler. Mine runs cool and am extremely pleased with it, without putting a large ugly fan on the side of the engine.
