Default Inner/Outer Fairing alignment

I have a slight (eighth in @) mis-alignment of my inner and outer fairing in that the top horizontal edge of the inner fairing is visible thru the windshield above the top edge of the outer fairing. Everything is tight and straight and there are no gaps. Is this someting I can correct by moving the outer fairing up a little or should I see the dealer??

I still find it hard to believe that there is not some type of moulding or gasket between the windshield and the fairings. All that plastic squeezed together seems kind of stressfull.

As usual any advice is much appreciated

Greg

I think I would seeif the warranty will cover this first before you open a can of worms.

I'd stop by a HD showroom and look at other fairings to see if they are similar. If they are....you probably don't have a case.

Have you had it apart recently? Or did it come that way?

I know when I had my fairing off it takes a little "finessing" to get it lined back up and into place again just right. Have a friend help you and you can probably get it back together correctly.
