I run 36 front and 40 rear. Seems perfect for me and the misses. (20 in the rear shocks) Same pressure if it's just me but I drop the rear shocks to 5.

36 front 40 rear if your two up and both chubby. Might want to experiment with lower pressures in the rear(35 36)for a better ride and less groove tracking. These stock tires are not too confidence inspiring even after your familiar with the bike.. I think they are actually worse when you think you got it all figured out and start dragging stuff on turns.

Forgot to tell you if you haven't had it happen to you yet-- I run about 36 in the rear and just today on an approx25 mph turn with the bike leaned overI gassed it out and felt the reartire do a slip and grip. Almost like a greasy slip feel. I have 1000 miles on this rear tire too. I should have wnet for a Metzler ME880.I willnext time.

For the Dunlop D402...OE tire, Dunlop recommends 36 front and 40 rear all the time. [American Rider, June 2007, p54]
