VANCE & HINES TRUE DUALS & OVAL SLIP-ONS

I have 07 ultra with rush 2.00" slash down slip-ons, I am happy with sound, but right side always turns brown & blue!! I have k & n air filter,V& H fuelpak & also added HD premium oil cooler.
My question is ,I'm thinkin going with V & H oval slip-ons to solve blueing issue,also thought of pickin up the true dual headers as well , get both for about $750.00 on e-bay.

will i be happy with sound & will this void warranty? even thouth the true duals keep 02 sensors . Bike has xtended 5 year warranty??

If you are expecting the ends of the ovals not to turn brown or blue you might reconsider it. Mine turned brown within a month of installing them. Not the whole muffler just the smaller oval. I ride about 60 miles at a time and they both are brown. Dan

is the V&H true dual headers worth it???
im also think about this too...any performance gain.....my 06 SG carbureted, any jet i have to change???

I've run the true duals with the ovals for 17 months and 12,000 miles with absolutely no discoloration.

EFI with Stage 1 air cleaner and PC III.

Runs cooler and sound comes out balanced from BOTH mufflers.

Jets would need to be changed most likely on carb'd bike.

Yep.......Carb jets will need to be change or you could burn it up from running lean.....[8D]

im running the big shot duals with the one piece heat shields 11,700 miles and no problems or color $550.00 and put the fish tails on

05 Ultra with V&H true duels and ovals. Great sound and NO dis-color anywhere! Have had this set-up on for the last 10,000 miles.

I have the V&H Duals and Ovals, I really like them. They sound great, and perform really well. I have no discoloration.

I had one of the ends turn brown and called V&H. They sent me two new inserts with no questions asked.
